Countdown to project exhibit opening!

I am so excited to share that the project exhibit is just weeks away. “Legacies / Perinnöt” will be open in Turku at the Forum Kortelli from April 7-28. The exhibit will feature photographs I’ve taken during field work, archival images, an amazing sound piece made by my friend/colleague Zoe Gordon, and a small installation that directly juxtaposes Finnish settler domesticity with the environmental impacts of settlement and extractive industry. And best of all, Zoe will be in Turku!

In June, we will be able to do it all again, when a slightly different version of the exhibit will be shown at Co.Lab gallery in Thunder Bay from June 9-30.
